Conference dates

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts for consideration to be included in the SEED program. Only original Extended abstracts describing previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, can be submitted.

All contributions will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings, published by UPV Press, and will be provided with a DOI number and submitted to be indexed in major international bibliographic databases.
The submission of workshop proposals will be made by email at seedconf@upv.es  by Feb 2nd 2024.

Previous editions are indexed in Scopus and the Thomson-Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Web of Science Core Collection (former ISI Proceedings).

Papers must be written in English and must follow the instructions in the template file, available in Microsoft Word format. To facilitate the double-blind review, please ensure your manuscript does not reveal your identity.

The Program committee will only review extended abstracts. This means that the submission of the extended papers is required by 26 January 2 February.

Extended abstracts length must be between 4 and 9 pages (A4 size), incorporating the title page (title, abstract and keywords), all text, references, figures and tables. That is, the maximum paper length accepted is 9 pages (1 title page + 8 pages with the body text, figures, tables and references). These guidelines are strict: papers failing to adhere to the guidelines (by being more than 9 pages, altering margins or not following the template) will be rejected without consideration of their merits. Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the contribution.  Accepted papers must be presented in-person (virtual or remote presentations are not allowed) and in English (which is the only official language of the conference).

SEED is using the EasyChair platform to manage the submissions. To submit your paper, you must first create an EasyChair account. EasyChair will provide a submissions homepage where you can register your paper submission and make appropriate changes. If you have already used it, you will not need to register again. Just go to EASY CHAIR SEED 2024.

Please, read carefully the following instructions to manage your submission. In case of questions related to the submission process please get in touch with us at seedconf@upv.es
