The First International Conference on Sustainable Energy Education (SEED) aims to become a forum for researchers, academics and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions, and research results relating to the preparation of students, teaching/learning methodologies, the organization of educational systems, partnerships and funding and governance related to Sustainable Energy Education.

The SEED conference will be held on July 3-5, 2024, at the Faculty of Business Administration and Management of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), which has been ranked as the best technical university in Spain by the Academic Ranking of World Universities since 2014.

SEED conference is the international forum to establish the global learning community about Energy Education to exchange knowledge, provide opportunities and ultimately develop a shared vision. The community aims to appeal to all the stakeholders, such as academia, industry, public authorities, public entities, NGOs, and foundations; for more information, please visit the web

Topics of interest

The program committee encourages the submission of extended abstracts that communicate applied and empirical findings of interest to higher education and vocational education & training professionals, researchers and practitioners.

All accepted extended abstracts will appear in the conference proceedings book, which will be assigned a DOI and ISBN. Submission guidelines

Authors worldwide are invited to submit original and unpublished extended abstracts not under review in any other conference or journal. All papers will be peer-reviewed by the Program committee based on their significance, methodological soundness, originality, and clarity of exposition.

Extended Abstract Submission

Submitted extended abstracts must be written in English and should be uploaded in Word and/or PDF file format. They must follow the instructions in the template file, available in Microsoft Word format here:

Submissions must be between 4 and 9 pages (A4 size), including 1 title page + 8 pages with the main text, figures, tables, and references. These guidelines are strict: extended abstracts failing to adhere to the guidelines (by being more than 9 pages in total, altering margins, or not following the template) will be rejected without consideration of their merits. Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present their contribution.

SEED is using the EasyChair platform to manage the submissions. The submission website is: EASY CHAIR SEED 2024

In case you have yet to use the platform previously, you will need to register first. The full conference organizing committee looks forward to welcoming you to a fruitful conference with open discussions and important networking to promote Sustainable Energy Education.
