The workshop is designed to be dynamic and interactive, offering participants a comprehensive learning experience in the field of solar energy storage. The session commences with an introductory overview of Ampere Energy products, which optimize the solar self-consumption and maximize savings on the electricity bill.
Next, there is a specific focus on the algorithmics of the Smart Energy Management System to transition into a presentation of real-world successful solar self-consumption case studies. Installations that incorporate PV panels and smart batteries are presented in residential, industrial, and energy communities locations that have achieved remarkable economic, ecological and grid energy savings.

In this educational congress our objective is not only to introduce our company and successful cases in solar self-consumption with smart storage but actively engage attendees in the exciting and impactful world of solar self-consumption with battery storage.

Showcase successful self-consumption case studies and engage curiosity We will present real-world examples and case studies of organizations or individuals to whom we have successfully dimensioned and implemented self-consumption systems for renewable energy. There will be a highlight of economic, ecological and energy from grid savings. We will develop presentations and content that captivate the curiosity of the attendees by incorporating innovative visuals, success stories, and compelling data to make the subject matter interesting and accessible. An example of a successful case is presented in this video.
Create a question and answer environment Cultivating an interactive environment that encourages attendees to ask questions, share insights, and participate in discussions, fostering a collaborative learning experience. This will promote the exchange of ideas between attendees and presenters, which will be useful for both.
Address concerns and challenges Acknowledging and addressing potential concerns or challenges associated with self-consumption, providing practical solutions and insights to empower attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
Introduce a collaboration with Ampere Energy A program to incorporate students at Ampere Energy, offering a business collaboration framework. Description of the topics and scope of the workshop

The main topics are:

The scope of our workshop encompasses a comprehensive exploration of solar energy storage and management. Participants will gain insights into the optimization of energy flow, particularly in the context of smart systems. The workshop delves into real-world case studies, emphasizing successful implementations of solar self-consumption across diverse settings, including residential, industrial, and energy communities. Additionally, the scope extends to addressing challenges associated with energy storage and fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and open discussions. The introduction of a program to incorporate students into Ampere Energy adds an innovative dimension, providing participants with opportunities to explore potential collaborations and the integration of students into the dynamic field of renewable energy at Ampere Energy. Overall, the workshop aims to inspire the attendees to embrace sustainable solutions.

Rough agenda: 1-page outline of the workshop content describing the workshop dynamics, including tentative speakers, format (panels, call for extended abstracts, etc). Providing hands-on, interactive demonstrations using our app: My Ampere 3.0 (video of the ancient version MyAmpere 2.0), allowing attendees to experience the practical aspects of renewable energy management.

Engaging attendees with questions and answers If possible, we will prepare an interactive and exciting Questions and Answers quiz with an app like Kahoot (https://kahoot.com/). This will require the participants to download the Kahoot app. If participants get the question right, they are awarded more points the less time they have taken to answer. Another option is just show a question in a slide, give several seconds to think of the answer and then present the answer in the next slide. Collaboration between students and Ampere Energy We will explain the selection process and the conditions to join Ampere Energy in a collaborative framework.

Ursula Perez-Ramirez has a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering and is the Head of the Data Science department at Ampere Energy where she has been working for 5 years. She has participated in the development of the algorithm for Smart Energy Management System, energy transactions in energy communities and Virtual Power Plants, PV energy forecasting and load forecasting.
